Last week my profile was accepted on Spotlight. Another great milestone on my way to becoming an acomplished actor.

In other news I finished filming on Saturday playing a bouncer, which was great fun and I got to meet some great people too.
Looking forward I have a couple of short films coming up where I get to expand on a character I played in a movie earlier this year and I have a lead role in an interesting independant movie scheduled for filming at the end of this month.
I am really enjoying the whole experience and relish the challenges ahead.
I also went for a casting in Newbury last week for a great role and I am keeping my fingers crossed tightly that I get it. One lesson I learnt in the casting was that no matter how good you learn your lines, there is always going to be something that will throw you off balance at an audition and that you must always be prepared for anything.
Now that I have my Spotlight profile, my next step is to find myself an agent to represent me. I am already listed with several extras agencies but now I want to find one that will put me on their books and look after me, so if you are an agent reading this please get in touch.
Going about finding an agent is no easy task, particularly when starting out in this industry and it's up to me to prove myself, and I guess its now that the real rejections start to occur and test my resistance and staying powers.
I guess its about having a plan and sticking to it. Stay focused
